UnderWater World

Underwater World at Mooloolaba offers an amazing experience for people of all ages. Australia Zoo

Australia Zoo at Beerwah is an easy one-hour drive, just north of Brisbane. You'll find that a visit to the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin's award-winning Australia Zoo is an action packed day of wildlife adventure. Crikey! Australia Zoo has 14 shows daily, where you get the chance to watch the keepers feed the crocodiles, catch the thrilling free flight bird show, or watch playful tigers as they stalk their handlers. Other exciting daily shows include the cheeky Asian otters, the cuddly koalas, snakes, and the amazing giant Galapagos tortoise called Harriet, who hatched in 1830 and is the worlds oldest living resident. You also have the chance to feed the beautiful Asian elephants, free of charge. There is even the chance to book a walk with the amazing tigers or cheetah.

The Ginger Factory

The Ginger Factory at Yandina on the Sunshine Coast is Queensland's biggest free admission theme park, home of the world's largest Ginger Factory. It's a great day out the whole family will enjoy as there's so much to do. Learn some of the secrets that make Australian ginger the world's favourite. Watch this fascinating natural product being prepared for shipment right around the globe. Hop aboard the Historic Cane Train for a ride through lush native rainforest and landscaped gardens or browse The Ginger Shop for the biggest selection of ginger produce in the world. Explore Gingertown, a heritage style village of fascinating shops and Aussie cuisine. After a full day at the Ginger Factory, take home your own beautiful ginger plant for an easy-growing exotic addition to the garden, from the Ginger Nursery.

The Big Pineapple

The Big Pineapple is an imposing 16m high, fibreglass Pineapple Icon was established in 1971. Visitors to the plantation are invited to explore its interior to discover more about Queensland's Tropical Fruit industries, or to simply take in some of the best Sunshine Coast rural views from the top level. Just one hours easy drive north of Brisbane, on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast, come and enjoy the beauty of the lush tropical fruit plantations, sample Queensland style foods, come face to face with Australian wildlife or shop for quality arts, crafts and souvenirs.

The Aussie World family fun-park is located behind the iconic Ettamogah Pub on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. With over thirty rides and games it’s guaranteed to please every one of all ages! Superbee

Superbee is a working honey factory which exports to over 25 different countries all over the world. Superbee is located in both the beautiful rainforest hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia as well as on the Gold Coast, just south of Brisbane. At both tourist attractions you can see the entire process of honey production from the beehive to the bottle. There is a range of things to do and see including live bee shows, tasting the world's widest range of pure honeys and shopping in the factory outlet stores. Supeerbee have up to 30 different varieties of honey at any one time. You are welcome to taste them all absolutely free. Admission is Free! At the Sunshine Coast property, you can walk through the Gardens, play on the Kids Rides and eat at the Restaurant. Superbee also offers Children's Birthday Parties.

The Mary Valley Rattler

Experience the Cooloola Region's Mary Valley aboard the 'Valley Rattler' - easily one of Queensland's most scenic railway lines. This historic 40 km journey commences at Gympie, and after crossing the Mary River, negotiates an abundance of curves, gradients and bridges to pass through the small country villages of Dagun, Amamoor and Kandanga to Imbil. Disembark at any of these original stations, fully restored and landscaped, where you can enjoy interesting excursions within the district and good old-fashioned country hospitality.
